Chefchaouen is a charming small town with a population of around 40,000 situated 100Km from Ceuta. It lies at the base of two mountains, Tissouka (2,050m) and Megan (1,616m), part of the Rif mountain chain. They rise above the town like two horns, giving name Chefchaouen which means in Berber “look at the horns”).
